Hair Loss in Men

So you're 28 and losing your hair. Shock of shocks. No really, I feel for you--I really do because that's what happened to me. I was right in the middle of the prime of my life, minding my own business, and worrying about a million and one other things than losing my hair. (If your hair loss started later than that, count yourself lucky.) But 28 it was for me, so I had to deal with it.

I don't know if it's being of the techno generation or what, but I just was not going to accept going bald like my Uncle Ned. Don't get me wrong--he's a great man and everything, but going bald is not for me...at least not until I choose to look that way. And I chose not to choose that a year ago.

Twelve months ago, I went through the rigors of testing many hair loss products on the market. I tried hot oil treatments, shampoos, and then some topical solutions. (My dad used topical solutions for a decade, so I thought that went with a more advanced state and realized that it would take diligence on my part.)

Problem was all the other "light" treatments didn't work. That's when I went for a topical solution with minoxidil. I saw a Web ad for Provillus Minoxidil for Men, so I checked it out, and that's really the only thing that has worked for me. In two weeks I started to see new growth throughout my scalp, and after a month I had switched to applying it just in the morning after showering which is really unheard of in the hair loss industry. I guess youth is in some way on my side. :)
